"The trip was incredibly well organised - from the driver still holding our name card at 2 am when our flight was delayed to the perfect timekeeping throughout. Our English escort always thought the details through - from cheaper lunch to what we might need. Our forward going but sensible horses were fun and easy to ride, and Atollah - our Wadi Rum guide - matched them accurately to our riding abilities. Watching the camel race, Wadi Rum-style, from the window of a 4x4 driven alongside the galloping camels was a thrilling experience. In addition, the hotels (except for the reasonable 3*in Madaba) were much better than expected for the price, rounded off with a swanky posh 5* in Amman." "What a most extraordinary and fantastic place Nyati Beach Lodge is. It is a fisherman's paradise. We caught King Mackeral to about 40lbs, Kingfish to 20lbs, Yellow fin Tuna to about 30lbs, Grunter to about 6lbs, Bonefish and numerous other species, plus a 350lb Bull Shark. If you are not a fisherman you can walk on deserted beaches, use a quad bike on 60 klms of beach and not see a soul!! The cuisine at Nyati is the best we have had anywhere in Africa. Crayfish, Tiger Prawns and plenty of fabulous fresh sea fish, many of which we caught ourselves. Superb fresh fruit and other sumptuous dishes.Overall 10 star. Cant wait to go again." We really enjoyed riding the Peruvian Pasos…and being gated they had the added benefit that throughout the five days of riding not one of us had any sign of soreness. The route offered a mixture of towns, countryside, and high planes and you really felt as if you were getting off the beaten path and seeing a more authentic view of rural Peruvian life. “Everything exceeded our expectations. Ras Kutani was great and we were really well looked after. Sand Rivers is superbly located and we had a couple of mornings out on the river bank which was a great location for breakfast. The snorkelling at Kinasi was fantastic, with were coral gardens and an amazing variety of beautiful coloured fish. Mafia is a very remote but it all worked perfectly. The meet and greet service at the airport was fantastic. We can’t recommend it highly enough and the staff were charming everywhere. Thanks so much for organising such a wonderful holiday." "Bitteroot Ranch was brilliant. Lovely family and Mel is English and she went to Milfield School. I was surprised to see the food was more grand as I thought we will be eating typicial American food. The chef is English. They have a large vegetable and fruit garden and also their own farm meats. The ranch is basic and we have our own log cabin with bathroom. It has plenty of hot water. Horses are well behaved. (Arabs and Quarters) They bred thier own and they must have about 200!! Wranglers are very responsible and we rode 6 hours every day. My daughter Tamara wants to go back there for the summer as a wrangler in 3 years time as most of them are British. Only hard hats to be worn on rides. We went to a rodeo and it was great fun.
